Fine Art Print: Peach Dahlia
This is a fine art giclée print of a dahlia drawing that was originally created on an iPad Pro using an Apple Pencil in Procreate. It has been printed with archival, fade resistant pigmented inks on a white, 100% cotton paper with a smooth surface texture. The image is printed with a one inch border which allows for easy framing into standard frames with pre-cut mats. Actual size of the prints are 10”x10” and 14”x14” with the border.
Print ships flat with foam core backing in plastic sleeve.
I spotted this dahlia a couple summers ago while on a vacation with my mother to see Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water. While we were in the area, we paid a visit to the Spruce Forest Artisan Village-the most charming cluster of working artist studios housed in historic log cabins, tucked in the northwest corner of Maryland. Once you cross the small, covered walking bridge, you feel like you have been transported in time. This gorgeous bloom towered above others in a large garden and stopped me in my tracks. This drawing will forever remind me of that wonderful week spent with my mom surrounded by beautiful architecture, quaint cafés, sculpture and handmade artisan crafts.
